Position Description

This position is a Bargaining Unit position

The Treasury & Accounting Administrator is an important part of the EKC team by being detail-oriented and timely in your service to our members.

This position completes key treasury and accounting functions at EKC such as calculating daily investment and borrowing requirements, preparing investment spreadsheets, maintaining, and updating exchange, interest, and other rates.

This position also completes key accounting functions including regular balancing and reconciliation activities for system generated transactions, journals and posting sheets, as well as incoming clearing transactions.

Schedule Description

Permanent Part-Time – 21 Hours per week

Tuesday – Thursday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 10:30am – 4:30pm

Note: Additional hours/days may be required, often on short notice, subject to operational requirements.

This position is one in which increased hours may be required. We are aware of the following situations, however there may be others, as operational needs dictate:

  • Year-End and Month-End Activities – to be determined when monthly scheduling is completed. It is anticipated full-time or near to full-time hours may be required during these peak periods.
  • Training period may include up to full time hours for the first 3 months of employment.

Qualifications Required

Do you have a secondary school diploma plus two years of experience in a member service and/or accounting related role?
