This role oversees the marketing function for the credit union including the development and implementation of an annual marketing plan and associated marketing strategies and tactics. Oversees all external communications and directs the online marketing efforts of the credit union, including implementing an integrated electronic delivery strategy that incorporates social networking, website evolution, and mobile access. Oversees the planning, execution and analysis of community initiatives and organizes customized member surveys and member feedback gained through a variety of digital methods. Administers internal staff orientation and educational activities to support the delivery of product and services to members on an ongoing basis or during targeted campaigns, and to facilitate staff use of marketing-oriented technology platforms.

Do you have a passion for helping people and a reputation for sales success and building relationships in your career?  The ideal candidate would have the following:

  • University degree or diploma in a related field or related experience with knowledge of marketing management.
  • Five to seven years’ marketing experience in comparable industries with four years in a management position

Additionally, you would have:

  • Proficiency in written and oral communication skills and the ability to project a courteous, professional image
  • Demonstrated ability of planning and implementing marketing and sales strategies that consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced marketing activities (public relations, advertising, websites, etc.)
  • Planning and analysis skills in sales and marketing
  • Success in responding to member inquiries and providing a high level of member service.
